PTZ CCTV Cameras

The term PTZ Camera comes from Pan, Tilt, and Zoom. Generally used with a keyboard controller and joystick, with zoom up to 36X Optical. PTZ cameras can be setup using a serial cable, connecting many cameras at once. PTZ cameras range in power from 18X to 36X zoom. Newer model PTZ camera now have an option of Infra Red included for outdoor use. PTZ cameras are popular for interactive surveillance, such as casino monitoring, mall surveillance, prison security, etc. Resolution levels for PTZ cameras are usually about 480 lines, but are also avialable at 550 TV Lines. With the correct heater and blower, PTZ cameras can operate in temperares well below freezing, and as high as 140 degrees F. PTZ Mounting brackets included ceiling, wall, and parapit or goose.
